As the original Flag Fen Visitor Centre became older and the number of visitors increased, it became time for a new building.

Architects Archimage wanted something in keeping with the Bronze Age site and developed a roof in a shield design. CEL clad it in natural copper using the standing seam method with batton roll hips to give it substance.
